In pictures: NRLA on Tour Durham event
It was a capacity crowd at the NRLA’s ‘On Tour’ event in Durham this week.
NRLA North East representative John Forth hosted as an impressive line-up of speakers took to the stage.
The event got underway with an update from Paul Shamplina, TV host and founder of Landlord Action, who spoke all about rental reform and the courts.
Following this, Karl Tidman, of NRLA partner 3mc NRLA Mortgages, took to the stage to deliver an update on the buy-to-let mortgage markets, and answered questions from delegates in the room.
Ben Beadle, NRLA CEO then took to the stage after the break to discuss all things NRLA campaigning, including new NRLA and Paragon Bank research published this week, on the vital contribution the private rented sector makes to the economy.
Ben also spoke about rental reform and other key areas of the association's campaigning, which included an audience Q&A.
Following the NRLA's acquisition of property certificate platform Safe2 last year, Ben used his presentation to discuss exciting technology developments, and demonstrated how landlords can use the Safe2 platform to arrange and renew property safety certificates, at the click of a button.
