Background

We all have mental health issues. Therefore, it should be the easiest thing to talk about—but we know this is not always the case! To help shift the stigma and shine a light on something that affects all of us, we are providing an accessible, inclusive, and informed space to learn about mental health together.

Mental Health in Housing will equip professionals working in the housing sector with essential knowledge and skills to address mental health challenges within their tenancies effectively. Participants will establish a strong and credible baseline understanding of the topic before exploring a variety of common mental health disorders. Together, we will bust persistent myths and share credible, best-practice content around mental health.

Through interactive sessions, case studies, and practical exercises, attendees will learn strategies for supporting individuals experiencing these challenges and fostering inclusive, compassionate, and supportive environments.

In addition, this course will dedicate time to discussing the unique challenges and nuances of working in housing through the lens of mental health and well-being, with the opportunity to gain advice and guidance from subject matter experts in workplace well-being.

Upon successfully passing the course and end-of-course assessment, you will qualify for 5 CPD point automatically recorded in your accreditation record. Successful completion of the assessment may be required for various licensing schemes. Please consult your local authority for clarification.
