Member webinar: Your campaigns update
NRLA members are invited to attend an exclusive webinar outlining the next steps in our Renters’ Rights and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) campaigns.
Government proposals in these two areas are set to bring about the biggest changes to the private rented sector in generations, and in the webinar on 10 April we will examine how the changes could impact you and your business - including how the removal of fixed term tenancies could make planning energy efficiency improvement works more challenging.
We will also discuss the work the NRLA is doing to represent your interests when it comes to the changes up ahead.
The Renters’ Rights Bill is progressing through the House of Lords, with Committee stage, where amendments will be debated, now listed for 22 April.
NRLA Public Affairs Manager Eleanor Bateman will examine these amendments and what to expect in the remaining stages.
Public Affairs Officer, Mia Rotaru will also be on hand to provide an overview of our campaign on Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards, and offer tips on how to respond to the consultation - something you can read more about here.
This one-hour, virtual and interactive webinar, will take place at 11am on 10 April and you are encouraged to submit any questions you may have ahead of time by emailing us at [email protected]
