Your Wales events and training update: October
Welcome to your training and events guide for September. In addition to our eClassroom course helping landlords in Wales prepare for forthcoming legislation change, we have a busy calendar of free events taking place in Wales over the next few weeks.
eClassroom and eLearning courses
Our eClassroom courses are live, remote courses delivered via video by our expert trainers.
We have a range of courses specifically for landlords with rental properties in Wales.
Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016
The Renting Homes (Wales) Act will see big changes for private landlords in Wales, when it comes into force on 1st December 2022.
With just three months to go, the NRLA has worked closely with Rent Smart Wales to develop a new eClassroom and face to face classroom course which is mandatory for licence renewal and fully approved by Rent Smart Wales. The course must be completed prior to the implementation of the act. The course is £100 for NRLA members and £120 for non-members. With plenty of dates to choose from, book your place here.
Rent Smart Wales eLearning courses
All landlords and agents must hold a licence issued by Rent Smart Wales, and the NRLA is an official and approved training provider to deliver this course, which forms part of the licence application. There are two courses, one suitable for landlords and another suitable for letting agents. Click below to sign up.
