Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016
The Renting Homes (Wales) Act 2016, set to come into force on 15th July, will result in many of the rules around renting changing in Wales. To help landlords prepare for the new legislation, the NRLA has worked closely with Rent Smart Wales to develop a new eClassroom and face to face classroom course which is mandatory for licence renewal and fully approved by Rent Smart Wales. The course must be completed prior to the implementation of the act on the 15th July. The next date for this course is Friday 27th May 2022. The course is £100 for NRLA members and £120 for non-members. Learn more and book your spot today.
Rent Smart Wales eLearning courses
All landlords and agents must hold a licence issued by Rent Smart Wales, and the NRLA is an official and approved training provider to deliver this course, which forms part of the licence application. There are two courses, one suitable for landlords and another suitable for letting agents. Click below to sign up.
