The next Budget - our proposals to the Treasury

With the 2021 Budget right around the corner we’ve done our utmost to highlight those issues across the private rented sector which impact our members.

Our submission to the Treasury ahead of the Autumn Budget set out some key proposals that we believe could make a positive impact on the private rented sector (PRS), to the benefit of both landlords and tenants.

As we head towards another year of widespread economic uncertainty the coming months will be crucial with regards to how a fairer, more inclusive PRS can be moved forward in the new year.
