The Big Question: Furnished or unfurnished - what do you rent?
Do you rent out your properties unfurnished – or ready for tenants to move right in?
Following a discussion on the furnished/unfurnished debate in our most recent podcast the NRLA is asking what you prefer to do for our next ‘Big Question’ feature in NRLA members’ magazine, Property.
Each edition the regular feature explores a topical issue related to renting, to find out more about your thoughts, opinions and experiences.
You may find tenants are keen to furnish their rental homes themselves, alternatively they might expect somewhere they can move straight into, bringing little more than a suitcase.
It may well depend on the demographic – for example students may need fully furnished rooms, whereas older renters, or those moving into rented accommodation for work, for example may want to bring items with them.
Perhaps you are flexible, dependent on individual tenants’ needs? Or your approach has changed over the years?
Whatever your story, we are keen to hear from you to find out a little bit more about what you do and why.
