NRLA on Tour events - a runaway success

Hundreds of landlords attended our free NRLA on Tour events this month, held in both Leeds and Kent.

The NRLA on Tour launch events saw an excellent line-up of speakers and exhibitors share knowledge and expertise with delegates, as well as the chance to hear directly from NRLA CEO, Ben Beadle about current campaigns on rental reform and energy efficiency, and how landlords in the room could get involved.

In Leeds, it was standing room only as delegates took to their seats in the ballroom at the Mercure Hotel for an afternoon of insightful presentations on the private rented sector, hosted by NRLA Yorkshire regional representative Ruth Millington.

Ruth gave an update on recent housing law changes, and there were other presentations from the Leeds Rental Standard, NRLA partner Movewise and AFG Solicitors on gaining possession.

NRLA rep Marion Money hosted our NRLA on Tour Kent event with over two hundred landlords attending.

Maxine Fothergill, the immediate past president of ARLA Propertymark and experienced letting agent took to the stage to discuss the pros and cons of using an agent, and in the week the inflation rate rose, there was also a presentation from NRLA partner 3mc on the latest on the buy to let mortgage markets.

Plus, at both events, landlords had the opportunity to see live demonstrations of the NRLA’s soon-to-be-launched Portfolio property management tool, which will be free and exclusive for NRLA members.

NRLA on Tour comes hot on the heels of the NRLA’s inaugural national conference in Coventry last November, which was a sell-out event with more than 600 attendees. Watch this space for a forthcoming announcement on the 2023 NRLA national Landlord Conference.

NRLA on Tour events offer members the opportunity to hear regional updates and hear from industry experts, as well as the chance to network with other landlords in the area and speak to exhibitors showcasing products and services to make landlords’ lives easier.

The next free NRLA on Tour event will be the rescheduled Midlands event (due to bad weather), taking place in Leicester on 23rd May. The event is free to attend but places are limited. To register and to read the full agenda, click here, and keep an eye out on our events pages and in our What’s On emails for announcements about upcoming local events soon.
