NRLA’s conference now a sell-out
The NRLA’s national conference, taking place in Birmingham this month, is a sell-out.
On 24th October, the NRLA will welcome more than 800 guests to the Landlord Conference, which will be hosted by award-winning journalist and presenter Clive Myrie.
Housing Secretary Michael Gove MP will give the keynote speech, outlining his vision for a vibrant and thriving PRS, with Labour MP Clive Betts,Chair of the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities Select Committee, to discuss Labour’s vision for the sector.
Delegates will also be treated to a must-see presentation from property investor, Martin Roberts, star of TV’s Home Under the Hammer, who will share his expert advice and insider tips on how to grab a property bargain.
Lively panel debates
Our lively panels, immensely popular at last year’s conference last year, are back to be running three debates at this year's event.
The first will take the form of a fireside chat style Q&A, with leading experts sharing their views on all things property finance.
Industry professionals also set to speak on the day include Kate Faulkner, OBE from Designs on Property, Doug Hall of NRLA Mortgages, Richard Donnell of Zoopla, Lucian Cook, Savills’ Head of UK Residential Research, and many more.
Legal Question Time
The Renters (Reform) Bill had its first reading in May and will bring about widespread changes to the private rented sector, including changes to tenancies and possession.
As the NRLA continues to work hard to help shape the Bill in these early stages, the Landlord Conference will give delegates the chance to hear first-hand about housing law reform, NRLA campaigning, and how to get involved.
There will also be a 'legal question time' where legal experts will answer questions on how the forthcoming legislation will affect landlords and their businesses.
Delegates will also be able to mingle and speak to more than 30 NRLA partners and suppliers in our exhibition space and see live demonstrations of NRLA Portfolio – our new property management tool, free and exclusive for NRLA members.
