NRLA Landlord Conference 2024 - FIVE reasons to attend
In just under three months, the NRLA's Landlord Conference, hosted by TV star Nick Knowles, will arrive in Birmingham.
This one-day conference brings you a wealth of information and practical guidance on what lies ahead for the private rented sector post-election, housing market trends, prop-tech solutions, and more.
We recently confirmed that Dragon's Den star and entrepreneur James Caan CBE will deliver a keynote speech at the conference. James will discuss his business journey, and must-know hints and tips on how to get the most out of property.
Last year's NRLA conference sold-out completely, and is currently up for a top industry award.
This year's event, which takes place on Wednesday 6 November, is set to be bigger and better, and a must-attend for landlords, letting agents, and property investors.
Here, we've rounded up our top five reasons to book now for our Landlord Conference in 2024.
Hear exciting panel debates with industry experts
Hear valuable lessons from successful, seasoned industry experts, including: Paul Shamplina Founder Landlord Action, Allison Thompson National Lettings Managing Director at Leaders Romans Group, Russell Quirk Co-Founder of ProperPR, Marie Parris CEO & Founder of George Ellis Property Services.
We'll also be discussing and debating key issues including dispute resolution in renting, with our panel including: Rebecca Marsh Property Ombudsman, David Jackson Regional Judge, Sean Hooker Head of Redress And Ombudsman Office at The Property Redress Scheme.
Hear housing market predictions, and investment and financing strategies
We have also gathered industry experts to examine trends in the sector, and investment and property financing strategies.
Is the demand for private homes to rent set to continue? What is the latest on interest rates and the buy to let mortgages market?
Our excellent line-up of speakers includes Richard Donell, Executive Director, Zoopla, Charlotte Edwards, Coach, Investor and Developer and more.
Access offers and advice in our exhibition hall
Our exhibition hall is a fantastic place to mingle and speak to suppliers about the various products, tools and services in the market, that could save you time and hassle when it comes to managing your property portfolio.
We will have dozens of partners, NRLA recognised suppliers, and other businesses exhibiting on the day. We are pleased to confirm our main event sponsor this year is Total Property.
Hear prop tech solutions to save you time and money
New for 2024, we'll also be focusing on the role of technology, and how prop-tech and AI are changing property management.
The NRLA's Chief Innovation Officer and founder of compliance platform Safe2, James Kent, will be joined on stage by Anna Moore, Co-Founder & CEO of Hestia, to delve into this topic.
And, be sure to visit our tech corner in our exhibition hall, to see live demonstrations of Safe2.
Acquired by the NRLA last year, Safe2 is a property certificate platform, making it easier for landlords to order and track property certificates for their rental properties.
Network with hundreds of landlords like you
Our vibrant conference is a fantastic opportunity to network, and share experiences with 1000+ landlords and property professionals like you.
As one delegate last year put it: "High quality and variety of speakers, high profile host, Q&A panels very good. I left feeling part of something big not a lone landlady".
Whether you’re attending as a group, with a friend, or by yourself, you'll be in good company and have the chance to make connections with other professionals.
Don’t just take our word for it, watch our highlights video from our 2023 conference, to hear directly from some of last year’s attendees:
