Weeks to go until Renting Homes (Wales) Act: New training course dates added
The Renting Homes (Wales) Act comes into force in just over seven weeks' time. The legislation will bring widespread changes for private landlords and renters in Wales.
To help landlords in Wales fully prepare for the new legislation, the NRLA has worked closely with Rent Smart Wales to develop a training course.
This essential training course covers everything landlords need to know about setting up tenancies, key dates and new fitness for human habitation requirements.
Those who take the course will also gain a sound understanding of the new rules around possession and abandonment.
All Rent Smart Wales licensees who have received their licence since July 2020, must undertake this approved training, by the 28th February 2023. This course has been recognised by Rent Smart Wales as sufficient to meet your licensing conditions.
The training course is available in two different formats to suit different learning styles.
Classroom courses are delivered in person at venues across Wales, by an experienced trainer. eClassroom courses will also be delivered live by an experienced trainer but remotely, meaning delegates can learn from their home or office.
Full course dates can be viewed below. Don't forget! NRLA members also receieve 20% off.
