Course of the month: How to succeed in the property business

How to Succeed in the Property Business is a new course for 2023, designed to help landlords develop the right mindset, while exploring the pros and cons of models including HMOs, Airbnb, single lets, ‘flipping’ property and land planning gain.

Delivered by NRLA trainer Henry Davis a developer, author, and portfolio landlord of 34 years’ experience, the course will:

  • review popular property management and accounting software tools
  • instruct delegated on how to write a compelling social media profile
  • outline the characteristics, habits, and traits of a successful entrepreneur
  • explore how to find the most profitable business model got you 
  • outline the seven steps of goal setting using the Brian Tracy Formula

Costs, dates and how to book

The eclassroom course costs, £200 for NRLA members and £250 for non-members, including VAT.

All courses are worth three CPD points.

Accreditation

This training course qualifies for three continuous professional development (CPD) points which can help towards or maintain your accreditation with the NRLA.

NRLA Accreditation recognises landlords who have agreed to maintain professional standards in the management and maintenance of their rented property and deal fairly and professionally with their tenants. CPD points are awarded for all activities which improve those attributes and are a requisite of membership of the NRLA Accreditation Scheme.
