NRLA hits 100,000 member mark
NRLA membership has hit the 100,000 mark. The association hit the milestone figure this month, two-and-a-half years after coming into being as a result of the merger of legacy organisations. It has launched a prize draw to mark the occasion with the top prize a £1,000 holiday voucher.

Liverpool landlord licensing scheme 'a waste of time'
Liverpool Council would take almost 150 years to process applications for its landlord licensing scheme. Since its Selective Licensing Scheme went live on 1st April, it has only granted 104 licences. This is despite an estimated 31,000 applications.

The Government has announced it will push back the implementation date for the next stage of its Making Tax Digital programme, as well as increasing the income thresholds landlords need to meet, following pressure from the NRLA.
