NRLA On Tour - Capacity crowd in Bristol
The NRLA On Tour returned to a packed audience in Bristol on 4 February.
Our chief executive, Ben Beadle gave a thorough update on policy developments and the road ahead for landlords during these tricky times, in front of more than 150 people who filled the room at the Aztec Hotel.
There were also thoughtful presentations from Total Property chief commercial officer Paul Shamplina and from our own regional executive James Gladwin. Delegates were left with a wealth of information about best practices, for now and the future, with new legislation about to come in for the private rented sector.
In attendance for our first-ever all-female panel discussion were Hannah Chappatte of student rental platform Hybr, Anna Moore, CEO at Domna (previously Hestia), and the NRLA’s public affairs manager Eleanor Bateman. The trio answered questions about the future of the private rented sector, energy efficiency, and whether there was still scope to influence future legislation.
Hosted by the NRLA’s chief innovation officer James Kent, the topic of the Renters’ Rights Bill was never far from the conversation.
The event was sponsored by Total Property, with exhibitors including Safe2, Currys Business, TradePoint, Aspray, Domna, Strikes, Homebox, Mattressman, The Valuation Office Agency, and Nacro.
