Bradford landlord expands property portfolio following Wildstone's gable end wall acquisition
Mohammed Sharaz, a landlord from Bradford, recently seized an opportunity to enhance his property portfolio after Wildstone acquired the gable end wall on New Hey Road. This acquisition resulted in a substantial lump sum capital payment to Mr. Sharaz, who had owned the building for a decade. Wildstone installed a next generation digital advertising screen on the property, replacing the traditional paper billboard that had adorned the site since the 1950s.
Mohammed Sharaz, a pharmacist and property owner from Bradford, received a significant lump sum capital payment from Wildstone as part of a 99-year lease agreement for his gable end wall located on New Hey Road. In line with this agreement, Wildstone installed a slim-lined next-generation digital advertising screen on the property, marking a remarkable transformation from the previous paper billboard.
Mr Sharaz says: “I’m really pleased with how sleek and attractive the digital billboard looks on the side of my property. Since the need for manual poster changes has been eliminated, there’s no more disruptions for the residents and local businesses, which is a big relief.”
Wildstone, the leading owner of outdoor media infrastructure in Europe, buy and rent property sites for outdoor advertising. As part of their comprehensive service, Wildstone takes care of the entire process, including securing planning consent, covering capital build costs, electrical fees, business rates, and general servicing and maintenance of the advertising screen throughout the contract term. In return for the use of billboard sites, the company offers property owners substantial one-time lump sum payments or annual rent, providing an attractive opportunity for additional income.
The capital payment received from Wildstone proved instrumental in facilitating Mr. Sharaz's expansion of his property portfolio. With the newfound resources, he was able to acquire two additional units adjacent to his existing property, further solidifying his presence in the real estate market.
Mohammed Sharaz adds: “I would like the opportunity to thank Henry from Wildstone for his professional approach from getting the project off the ground, through the approval stages and right up to the point of getting the digital billboard up. The assistance and guidance through the whole process has been faultless. The payment was swiftly processed and completed very quickly. I would recommend Henry and the whole team at Wildstone to all.”
