NRLA named Trade Association of the Year
The NRLA has been named Trade Association of the Year at the Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards 2022.
The association scooped the night’s top accolade, with members’ magazine Property also named best publication at the awards ceremony.
Emily Wallace, Interim Chief Executive, Trade Association Forum and Chair of the judging panel said: “The judges praised the way that the NRLA managed its merger in 2020 whilst still delivering strongly for members, offering practical help, training, tangible member benefits and a strong political voice to bring about change.
"The publication of the year award was praised for its good use of statistics and the judges were impressed by the scale of what had been achieved since the merger.”
NRLA chief executive Ben Beadle said: “We were delighted to take top spot at this year’s Trade Association Forum Best Practice Awards.
“The accolade is testament to the hard work of the whole NRLA team, which is united in its commitment to providing the very best service to our growing membership.”
It has been a bumper year for awards with Property named Property Trade Magazine of the year at the Property Press Awards in 2021, and scooping gold and bronze awards at the National Association Awards and Association Excellence Awards.
The NRLA itself scooped silver at the National Association Awards as well as picking up bronze for its lobbying during Covid at the Association Excellence Awards, with CEO Ben Beadle named Executive Director of the Year at the UK Association Awards.
