NRLA nominated for top industry awards
The NRLA has been nominated for a number of top industry awards this week.
The association’ sell-out 2022 conference has been nominated for two awards at the national Conference & Events Awards, reaching the finals of the Best Association Event and Best New Conference categories.
The conference, which was held at Coventry Arena in November last year, has also made the shortlist for Best In-Person Event at this year’s Memcom Awards.
The annual awards celebrate the very best of the UK’s membership organisations, with the NRLA and individuals within the association also named as finalists at an event in the capital this week.
NRLA Chief Executive Ben Beadle has made the shortlist for the CEO Leadership Award, with Sally Walmsley, Editor of the NRLA’s award-winning members’ magazine Property in the running for the Editor of the Year title.
The association itself is also on the shortlist for Best Trade Association.
Ben Beadle said: “It’s a huge honour to make the shortlists for such prestigious industry awards and testament to the hard work of colleagues throughout the organisation.
“The conference, our first national event, was a sell-out success and I am delighted that the hard work of the team has been recognised, with plans already well underway for the 2023 event, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.
“Last year was a bumper year for the association, picking up no fewer than 13 industry awards and, despite stiff competition from well-respected organisations across the UK, I hope we can enjoy similar success this time round.”
The winners of the Conference & Events Awards will be announced at the end of June, with the Memcom winners revealed in September.
