NRLA launches new-look research portal

The NRLA has unveiled new-look research pages, offering even more detailed and accessible information on the state of the private rented sector (PRS).

The team tracks more than 50 separate official data sets to offer an up-to-the-minute picture of the PRS and trends over time, as well as offering exclusive insight, using statistics from our own programme of member surveys.

More than 20 new interactive charts have been added top the site to make the complex data sets easier to understand, covering information including rental growth in the PRS, housebuilding and possession statistics.

The pages also include the latest inflation figures and the rental price data

Data collated is used as evidence to reinforce our campaigns and lobbying work as well as being available to journalists, academics and other researchers - giving not only a snapshot of the sector at any given time, but also showing the impact of policy decisions on landlord behaviour.

The pages were given a facelift after we revealed our company-wide rebrand, showcasing a modern new look alongside improvements to our website, making it easier for NRLA members to access the information they need, when they need it.

NRLA Head of Research, Nick Clay said: "The new pages make it easier to highlight key trends regarding the issues which matter to landlords, tenants and policy makers - and help us when it comes to raising awareness of the role the PRS plays in the English and Welsh housing markets.

“The new platform makes it easier to display a wider selection of that data and for members and other property professionals to access any information and statistics they may need."
