NRLA CEO named Executive Director of the Year
NRLA Chief Executive Ben Beadle has been named Executive Director of the Year at the UK Association Awards.
Organised by the Association of Association Executives the awards, now in their 18th year, recognise excellence and celebrate best practice.
The judges said Ben, who joined the NRLA as chief executive just over two years ago, had a huge impact on the success of the organisation, created through the merger of the legacy organisations the NLA and RLA.
The panel said: “Ben clearly demonstrates engaged and active leadership for the NRLA staff and its members. He has made a great impact on the association as a whole and his creative solutions have led to a successful and financially stable organisation for the future.”
Ben said: “I was delighted and honoured to receive the award, especially when up against such well-respected competition. The last two years have been challenging but hugely rewarding and I would like to thank the whole NRLA team who have also worked tirelessly to support our membership during this time.”
It has been a bumper year for awards with members’ magazine Property named Property Trade Magazine of the year at the Property Press Awards and scooping gold and bronze awards at the National Association Awards and Association Excellence Awards.
The NRLA itself scooped silver at the National Association Awards as well as picking up bronze for its lobbying during Covid at the Association Excellence Awards.
There is more good news with Property and the NRLA reaching the finals of the Trade Association Best Practice Awards 2022.
The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London in February, so keep an eye out on our social media channels to find out how we get on.
