Join us for a campaigns update on two of the biggest changes set to reshape the sector: the Renters’ Rights Bill and Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). Our public affairs team will explore how the Bill will intersect with the proposed, new MEES and provide an overview of how the reforms could affect you.
The Renters’ Rights Bill is progressing through the House of Lords, with peers submitting amendments ahead of Committee stage. In this campaigns webinar, we will discuss the Bill’s latest developments, with Eleanor Bateman, NRLA Public Affairs Manager, providing a detailed analysis of the amendments and what to expect in the remaining stages.
We will also explore how the Renters’ Rights Bill will intersect with the proposed regulations in the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) consultation and what these changes could mean for landlords. Mia Rotaru, Public Affairs Officer, will provide an overview of our MEES campaign and offer quick tips on how to respond to ensure your views are represented.
Finally, we will be joined by our Training and Development Officer, Hannah Kenyon, who will provide a snapshot of our course on the Renters’ Rights Bill training.
