Event description
Join us for an in-depth examination of Committee stage of the Renters’ Rights Bill in the House of Lords, including what’s changed and what happens next.
The Renters’ Rights Bill is set to bring the biggest raft of changes to the private rented sector in decades, with the abolition of fixed term tenancies and much more.
With Committee stage in the House of Lords set to take place from the 22nd April, and with hundreds of amendments tabled by peers, the final details of the Bill are still far from set.
Our Chief Innovation Officer, James Kent, will be joined by our Head of Policy, James Wood and Public Affairs Officer, Joshua Helm-Cowley and Heather Cara, Senior Manager at Lloyds for this essential webinar where we will break down the key changes passed at Committee stage, what they are likely to mean for the sector, and where the Bill goes next.
We’ll also update you on our work with peers to ensure the Renters’ Rights Bill is workable and that landlords retain the provisions they need to operate effectively in the PRS.
With the PRS facing enormous changes and increased costs, ensure that you’re informed and prepared for the Renters’ Rights Bill’s implementation.
There will be an opportunity to ask questions during the webinar and we urge you to submit your question in advance so that we can ensure all concerns are addressed. Please email your question to [email protected] by the 12th May for consideration.
