Agenda
Preventing damp and mould in rental properties.
Damp and mould concerns in properties are never far away from the news following the sad death of 2 year old Awaab Ishak in Rochdale. Expert speaker, Nick Hodgetts, Brand Director at Glixtone will outline in an extremely entertaining and informative way what mould actually is and why it likes our rental properties so much. He'll outline ways to minimise mould and fungal growth in our ‘Living Spaces’ and protect our Tenants from this unsightly and possibly harmful organic growth.
Glixtone Fungi-Shield Paint is unique and extremely successful in preventing mould growth, with many property owners using this paint to eliminate one of the headaches experienced by landlords.
What’s happening to Buy to Let mortgages? Overview and comment on the market.
Doug Hall, Director at 3MC, NRLA's specialist mortgage partner, will present a Buy to Let market update. He'll explain how Buy to Let lenders reacted immediately following the mini budget of September 2022, whether we're seeing the green shoots of recovery and he'll share the latest product offerings on the market.
Legislative update
Karen, your NRLA London south regional rep will provide an update on recent changes you need to be aware of to stay compliant. She'll highlight upcoming training opportunities and discuss some current campaign issues.
