This is a joint in person meeting between Trafford Council and the NRLA.

Tarlok Digwa, HOST Private Sector Lead for the Council will welcome the attendees to the Forum and outline the agenda for the evening.

 

 
    2.Cllr James Wright - Executive Member for Housing & Neighborhood’s6.05pm

3.NRLA Landlord Legislation Update  6.10pm
 

Rob Johnson from the National Residential Landlords Association will be providing landlords an update on any changes to Landlord Legislation

 

 
3.Miss Jo Russell – GM Ethical Lettings Lead - Let Us6:30pm
 The GM Ethical Lettings Agency will provide an update to landlords and how they can get involved. 
4.Nicola Lees/Richard Firth – Housing Standards Trafford Council6:50pm
 Provide update on empty properties, enforcement, barriers for empty properties, grants/loans available to landlords for refurbs, property compliance update  
5.Housing Options Service Trafford (HOST)7:10pm 
 

Tarlok will provide an update on incentives for landlords to assist with the re-housing of those on the Council’s Housing Register.

 

 
6.Miss Samina Aslam - Cedar Housing Solutions Ltd7:15pm
 Provide an update on their services & the work they are doing with councils to provide good quality & affordable homes to assist clients on housing waiting lists

Johanne Russell – GM – Ethical Lettings Lead - Let Us – works with landlords across GM to bring PRS properties into housing use and at LHA rates – leasing, property management & repairs etc

 

Nicola Lees/Richard Firth – Trafford Housing Standards – empty properties, enforcement, barriers for empty properties, grants/loans available to landlords, property compliance update etc

Tarlok Digwa – a quick  overview of how Housing Options Service Trafford (HOST)  could assist owners of empty properties – find suitable clients in housing need, leasing option, or  selling to our known reputable landlords.

Samina Aslam - Cedar Housing Solutions Ltd – What Cedar do – provide AST, supported acc and also work with investors to bring building back into housing use by working with LA’s to provide housing stock at LHA rates over a long lease period.
