Do you carry out regular property inspections - the Big Question
Do you carry out regular property inspections?
The topic is the latest to come under the microscope in the NRLA's Big Question feature for members’ magazine, Property.
Each edition we explore a topical issue related to renting, to find out more about your thoughts, opinions and experiences.
The NRLA advises landlords inspect their properties at least every six months, and for the next issue of the magazine we are asking you about your approach.
Do you schedule regular visits, or do you trust your tenants to take care of your property until tenancy change? Maybe you have long-term tenants who take care of the property as if it was their own? On the other hand you may have a strict schedule of inspections having been caught out in the past, or your insurers may demand it.
We are keen to hear from you to find out a little bit more about what you do and why.
