The state of the courts post-Covid-19 and ethical lettings

In this month’s episode of Listen Up Landlords we look at the state of the courts as Covid-19 restrictions are eased and talk ethical lettings with landlord Lorraine Thomas.

Presenter Richard Blanco (@richardblanco) talks to guest Paul Shamplina, founder of evictions specialist Landlord Action about what can be seen happening in the courts as restrictions are lifted and repossessions can begin again.

Elsewhere in the show Catherine Behdad, of the NRLA advice team talks about the hot topics on the phonelines throughout the month.

For the final portion of the show we are joined by landlord Lorraine Thomas.

Lorraine fell into property after leaving a job in the city to care for her sick father. After picking up an email – which had, in fact, been sent to her by mistake – she started a job sourcing rental accommodation for youngsters leaving care.

From there she built her own business as a landlord, investor, developer and mentor, while ensuring her business remained true to its ethical roots and retains a strong social element.
