NRLA scoops top industry awards

For the second successive year, the work of the NRLA has been recognised at the prestigious Association Excellence Awards.

The annual awards ceremony celebrates and recognises the vital work that is done by trade bodies, membership organisations and professional organisations, for their members.

The NRLA picked up silver in the Association of the year award, and their Chief Executive Ben Beadle also took silver in the Association Leadership category.

“It is incredibly rewarding to know the work of everybody at the NRLA is being acknowledged,” said Ben.

“This has been a difficult time for landlords and all in the private rented sector and we will continue to rise to that challenge and rigorously campaigning on their behalf.

“These awards are a reminder for the NRLA to stick resolutely to their fundamental task – to champion you as landlords and highlight the key role you play in the provision of safe and decent homes.”

Effective leadership

The judges at the event paid tribute to the work done by Ben in his role as CEO, noting that he had demonstrated ‘effective leadership across a range of areas - lobbying, people leadership, member engagement and change management.’

The judges were also vociferous in their praise for the NRLA, adding that the ‘services offered and developed are performing well particularly in media and policy relations.’

The association scooped awards at last year’s event and the news comes off the back of another successful end of year landlord conference.
