Investors in People awards NRLA gold accreditation

The NRLA has been awarded Gold standard by Investors in People (IIP) for its commitment to creating a positive and inclusive working environment for its staff.

The ‘Gold’ benchmark is an internationally recognised standard, and follows a rigorous investigation over a period of months, assessing whether the organisation lives up to its corporate values on a day-to-day basis.

The assessment involved interviews with NRLA colleagues and an analysis of key performance indicators with outcomes used to judge the assocation's overall performance.

This week's announcement follows the recent news that the NRLA was named one of the best medium-sized companies to work for in the UK by the Sunday Times.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate the NRLA. Gold accreditation is a fantastic effort for any organisation, and places the NRLA in fine company, with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

Ben Beadle, NRLA Chief Executive said: “This award is testament to the way in which the NRLA provides a welcoming environment where creativity and hard work are prized.

“It’s also clear evidence of the important role played by everyone at the NRLA, across every team, in helping make our company a truly dynamic organisation for the benefit of our members and the wider private rented sector.

“The ‘Gold standard’ is recognition of the enormous contribution of each and every colleague who make sure the NRLA is not just excellent at what it does, it is also a great place to work.”

A community interest company, Investors in People was established to improve workplaces across the globe, with just 28% receiving a Gold award.
